The Head of Security Department plays a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing the security operations across the entire Packeta Group. This position reports directly to COO and requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational excellence to ensure the safety and protection of company assets, employees, and facilities.

What will you do:

  1. Security Operations Management
    • Lead and manage the physical security and asset protection services across all depots within the Packeta Group.
    • Establish and maintain security standards, policies, and procedures for depots, offices, and transportation operations.
    • Conduct regular security audits and inspections (both in-person and via CCTV) to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  2. Security Strategy & Risk Prevention
    • Develop and implement security strategies to mitigate risks and prevent security incidents.
    • Propose and execute improvements to internal processes to enhance overall security.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to proactively address potential security vulnerabilities.
  3. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
    • Participate in the selection and management of external security service providers.
    • Ensure vendors adhere to company security standards and contractual agreements.
    • Work closely with local law enforcement and other authorities as needed.
  4. Incident Response & Compliance
    • Lead investigations into security breaches and ensure swift and effective responses.
    • Develop preventive measures to avoid security incidents.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with other departments to integrate security measures into daily operations.
    • Provide security training and awareness programs for employees across all levels.
    • Share best practices and implement improvements across the organization.

This position is ideal for an experienced security professional passionate about developing and maintaining world-class security operations in a fast-growing logistics company with the following experiences:

  • Proven experience in security management, preferably in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong understanding of physical security measures, risk assessment, and incident response planning.
  • Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation related to security services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a multinational, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience collaborating with law enforcement agencies is an advantage.
